JADAKISS IS EXPECTED TO SELL OVER 100,000 1ST WEEK
Jadakiss is poised to move an impressive total of at least 100,000 units of his third album, The Last Kiss, in its first week on the charts, according to projections from HitsDailyDouble.com.
The Def Jam rapper, who celebrated the release of his new album by bringing out Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz during a New York concert last Wednesday (April 8), is slated to fill the number three slot on this week’s SoundScan report arriving on Wednesday. Down the charts is another offering from a New York rapper, with Mims on track to sell between 10-15,000 copies of his latest album, Guilt.
No estimates were given for the second-week totals of last week’s chart debuts from U.G.K., Flo Rida, and Bow Wow, but expect significant drop-offs given the current sales climate.- Devin Chanda
